Professional Wrestling (formerly Explosive Coastal Wrestling) is
Australia’s pre-eminent professional wrestling organization.
EPW is an amazing blend of colourful characters and jaw dropping
athleticism that combine to form Perth’s most uniquely
interactive night out for the whole family.
Formed in late
2001, EPW was met with incredible enthusiasm by wrestling fans
that had been starved of quality live wrestling for many years.
Since that time, EPW has held over 100 successful live wrestling
shows throughout the greater Perth metro area.
Over the past eight years, EPW has established itself as the
finest live wrestling show in Australia. EPW also produced
Perth’s first locally produced wrestling television show,
‘Monday Night Wrestling’ which ran for three series’ on Access
31.
EPW has produced
some of the best wrestlers in this country, including many who
have gone on to perform in Japan and, the Mecca of professional
wrestling, the United States.
Explosive Professional Wrestling was born with the dream of
there being a sustainable wrestling scene right here in
Australia. EPW hope that due to our influence, top level
Australian wrestling will return to the spotlight it inhabited
in the late 1960’s.
EPW will continue to raise the bar for professional wrestling in
this country. We hope that wrestling will continue to be
successful in both Perth and Australia so that many generations
to come can enjoy this wonderful form of entertainment that we
call pro wrestling. |
