| Explosive Professional Wrestling (formerly Explosive
Coastal Wrestling/ECW Perth) is Western Australia’s only professional wrestling
organization and was formed in November 2001. EPW
was met with incredible enthusiasm by the wrestling fans of Perth and has held many
successful wrestling shows in the time since then. EPW has been mentioned by many
Australian wrestling personalities as the hottest young promotion in Australia and the
future of Australian wrestling.
EPW has produced some fine young wrestlers and hope to
produce many more through the Dynamite Factory training facility. EPW is all about
producing a top notch wrestling show that includes a little of everything that is great
about professional wrestling.
EPW was born with the dream of there being a sustainable
wrestling scene right here in Perth. EPW hope that due to our influence, there will be
some form of professional wrestling in Perth for many years to come.
EPW will continue to hold events in the Perth metropolitan
area and will hopefully one day get the chance to perform in other parts of Western
Australia.
We hope that wrestling will continue to be successful in
both Perth and Australia so that many generations to come can enjoy this wonderful form of
entertainment that we call pro wrestling.
