| Normally, after
every event, I, THE INSIDER, like to take a look at the winners
and losers from each event. But on this occasion, I, THE
INSIDER, will deviate from that pattern and bring you some going
ons from the EPW Dressing Rooms.
Brock Freeman may have been the
biggest loser from Hell or Highwater. He lost his sole member of
Freemanism, Shane Haste. And he appears to have also lost his
mind. He needed medical attention after receiving a post match
con-chair-to from Haste and Kiel E. Lectrifying. I, THE INSIDER,
tried to get a comment from Freeman. He mumbled something in
Japanese before passing out yet again.
Jimmy Payne was again noticeably
absent from Hell or Highwater. He was at the Community Centre
earlier that day and I, THE INSIDER, managed to catch up with
him. He revealed that his back injury was more serious than
first thought. “I thought I was close to 100% after Evolution
but something still isn’t right,” he said quietly, “I wrestled
at the house show and felt great but could hardly move a day
later.” He went on to say that he blames Tommy Cartel for his
time out this year and will be looking to take the big man out
when he returns. “The longer I’m out, the more fired up I’ll be
when I return. There will be hell to pay for Cartel and Blade.”
James Street was upset at being
held off the card at Hell or Highwater. “Why would they want to
keep the sexiest man in EPW off the card?” he asked. “People
only come to see James strut his stuff. But I’ll get my chance.
I’ll win the Invitational Tournament and then they can’t leave
me off anymore”. Easier said than done James. Almost every
wrestler in EPW will be gunning for that title. Not only that
but I, THE INSIDER, have heard rumours that interest has come
from over East as well. Will we see the first interstate
wrestler in the EPW Invitational tournament?
Well I, THE INSIDER, called it
after Black Friday. On the topic of Davis Storm and Mikey I, THE
INSIDER, said QUOTE: “Anyone think that there may be more to
this story before the year is out?” Now, after Hell or
Highwater, we head to Re-Awakening with Mikey as #1 contender
and Storm as PW champion. The two had a heated confrontation
after Storm’s win that wound up with punches being thrown and
both men needing to be restrained. But was that confrontation
‘all business’ as both men claimed. “Like I said, as long as
he’s the champ and I’m #1 contender, we have issues,” said Mikey
after the confrontation. “I’m not going to be pushed around and
I’m certainly not going to accept being slapped in the face. I
think he’s worried about Re-Awakening. And he should be.” Storm
was in a great mood after his win but his mood quickly changed
when the name Mikey arose. “I don’t care who you are. If you
come out looking for a fight after someone has just won the EPW
title, then you deserved to get slapped in the face!” he
shouted. “ Like I said earlier this year, a lot of people seem
to have forgotten what he put some of us through last year. I
haven’t forgiven and I haven’t forgotten. I respect him as an
athlete but not enough to just hand my title over. He’s in for
the fight of his life at Re-Awakening.”
That’s all the Inside goss that
I, THE INSIDER, have for you. |
