The stipulation for this match was that
if the Vagrant could defeat the Brat Pack he would get a chance to
fight Slick Rick Sanders. The Brats entered looking confident until
the Vagrant hit the ring holding a steel chair. Rick distracted him
so that the Devlin and Jamie could attack the ‘People’s Tramp’ from
behind. But they could not control him as he took over on both men
early. He hit them with a double flat out rock bottom that sent them
packing from the ring. The two on one advantage allowed the Brat
Pack to dominate the early going but the Vagrant continued to fight
on. Every time that it appeared that the ‘Homeless Hero’ might be
getting back into the match, Slick Rick would stick his nose in and
Devlin and Jamie would manage to get control of the situation.
The Brats had Vagrant finished off but
Rick continued to stop them from pinning him. He even went as far as
to enter the ring and stop the referee from counting. But he should
have allowed them to finish the job because his interference cost
them a certain victory. He threw a chair into the ring but Devlin
Reeves wound up tasting a twisting face buster onto it. He then
tried to toss powder into the eyes of the Vagrant but threw it
straight into the eyes of Jamie Jurah. One Krytonite Krunch later
and Slick Rick Sanders now has a date with the Vagrant.
