It wasn’t the best night out for Tommy
as Richter basically dominated this match from the opening bell.
Richter jumped Cartel from the word go and was able to control his
opponent for the majority of the match. Cartel was able to make a
short comeback but when he missed a shoulder tackle and hit the ring
post, it was all over. He was able to survive Richter’s huge
clothesline but could not kick out of a spinning chokeslam. Richter
has now qualified for the Invitational tournament for the second
year in a row.
