This
was the one bout that most people couldnt pick a winner from. It featured two former
EPW champions and the winner of the Most Improved award from 2002. A quick start with all
three men interacting. Richter asserted his size advantage on both men. Richter and Jimmy
played a game of one-upmanship. They both took turns at beating Storm with sideslams.
All three wrestlers took the advantage with a few double team moves for good measure. A
huge Doomdsday Device almost put Storm away. Mr Anarchy gored both men down
but could not put them away. German suplexes to both men couldnt get the job done
either. Jimmy went to the gore well one to many times and hit the corner post. Storm then
rolled him up while Richter held his legs down.
With
Jimmy gone, Richter pounced and hit Davis with a chokeslam. But the referee was still
trying to remove an injured Jimmy Payne from the ring. Tommy Cartel then entered the ring
and put Richter down with a massive powerslam. He struggled back to his feet and hooked
Storm up for a chokeslam but Davis floated over and hit the Eye of the Storm for the
1-2-3.
Storm was then joined in the ring by The
Vagrant and Jimmy Payne. He then invited The Uprising to the ring. Azazal asked if they
wanted to fight The Uprising tonight. He said he would make the match if Storm and The
Vagrant gave up their spots in the Re-Awakening Invitational tournament. They accepted the
match. Then Azazal said that they would have to fight 2 Uprising members, The Brat Pack
and a special mystery partner.
Storm then challenged The Uprising to a six man tag match at Re-Awakening for control of
EPW. He said that if they won they would take control back for EPW BUT if the Uprising
won, Storm would have to join The Uprising. It was decided that the match for Re-Awakening
would be a No-Holds Barred Street Fight.
