Explosive Pro Wrestling proudly presents Out of Control
Wanneroo Civic Centre, Wanneroo - September 27th 2003

With just a few days until our next event, Out of Control, we thought we'd take a quick look at what promises to be an exciting night of action that should also set the table for our year end spectacular, Re-Awakening.

Announced Matches

RE-AWAKENING INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT QUALIFYING MATCHES
3-Way Madness
Bobby Badblood
VS Brad West
VS Chris Lazareth

There can be no doubt that Brad West’s career has exploded this year. He has gone from being a tough, gritty underdog into one of EPW’s top wrestlers. But he has certainly drawn a tough assignment here. He is up against two men who are not just friends, but tag team partners. Bobby and Lazareth have both impressed in their rookie years. But both know that a spot in the Invitational tournament could have a huge impact on either of their careers.

Shane Haste
VS Anda Nothica
VS Jamie Jurah

This bracket sees two high fliers take on a mat technician. Anda Nothica has always set the standard in EPW for high flying. He made it to the semi finals last year and would surely relish another crack at the Invitational trophy. Haste has had a busy rookie year and knows that he could take a big step up by winning through to the finals stage. But they will have to deal with Jamie Jurah to get there. Jurah will be looking to keep the Invitational trophy within the Brat Pack.

The Vagrant
VS Devlin Reeves
VS Kiel E Lectrifying

The Vagrant’s return to EPW has been nothing short of sensational. He took Mikey to the wire in his return match and then defeated 3 men consecutively at Inner Turmoil. One of those wrestlers was Kiel E. Lectrifying who is as arrogant as they come and will be looking to embarrass the Vagrant as a measure of revenge. ‘The Playboy’ Devlin Reeves is the last piece of this puzzle. His ego would benefit no end, if he could make it to the Re-Awakening finals.

Davis Storm
VS Richter
VS Jimmy Payne

This is the toughest bracket to pick a winner from. Richter would surely be a favourite to win any match. Especially after his devastating performance against Devlin Reeves at Inner Turmoil. However, this bracket sees him up against not one, but two former EPW champions in Davis Storm and Jimmy Payne. Storm has previously commented on his desire to win the Invitational tournament after failing at the last hurdle in 2001. That hurdle was Jimmy Payne who is looking to springboard himself back to #1 contendership by winning the tournament for a second time.

LumberJack Match
Psychofett
VS Brock Freeman

No one has been able to contain the aggression that these men have for each other. Psychofett has been out for Freeman’s blood ever since the ‘American Nightmare’ turned his back on him and the fans at Evolution earlier this year. The fans adulation for Psychofett seems to fuel Brock’s rage. Their previous encounter could not be contained to the ring. They battled to a double count out when they continued to beat each other senseless through out the arena. A number of wrestlers will be at ringside to ensure this battle stays in the ring and has a decisive winner.

EPW Championship Match
FN Carnage
VS Justin Sane

FN Carnage has had a year of successes that may never be paralleled in EPW. In the last 12 months, he has won the Invitational Tournament, the EPW tag team titles and the EPW Title. He had a winning streak that went all the way back to September last year. But his first loss in almost a year came in a tag team match, against his opponent tonight. Sane and Brad West defeated Carnage and Jamie Jurah in a two out of three falls match but were denied the titles on a technicality. If Sane can take the momentum he gained in that match into Staurday Night, he may just become the fourth ever EPW champion.

Commentary by Dancin' Lukey & Slick Rick Sanders

Unfortunately, as the Civic Centre holds less people than the Cockman Pavilion, pre-ordering tickets is suggested to avoid missing out. You can do so by sending a cheque or money order to:

Explosive Professional Wrestling
Unit 3 / 4 Gary Road
Maddington, 6109

Please be sure to include a contact name and telephone number, as well as a return address and the quantity of tickets you require (ie 3 General and 2 kids)

Tickets are $12 for general entry and $5 for kids under 12. If any tickets are left, they will be sold at the door at a cost of $15 for general entry and $8 for kids under 12. This is the second last event for the year and will surely not be one to miss. Shows starts 7pm.

Thank you for your support and we hope to see you all at the event.
