This was Jimmy Payne’s wish. To put the leader of the Uprising out for
good. Blade tried to beg his way out of the match. He told Jimmy that as he was no longer
the leader of the Uprising, they had no issue any longer. But then Blade started to get
agitated. He told Jimmy that he had not forgiven him for goring him through a table at
Re-Awakening. He then threw down his cane and said he was going to take care of Jimmy,
‘Blade style’. Jimmy backed him up into a corner and proceeded to pound on
Blade. Tommy Cartel then sprinted to the ring and hit Jimmy repeatedly in the back with
Blade’s cane. He then put the reverse cloverleaf on and had Jimmy screaming in pain.
Referee Richard Everhard ran to the backstage area. He came back with Davis Storm and The
Vagrant who sprinted to the ring and chased Cartel and Blade from the ring. But the damage
had been done. Jimmy was carried from the ring.
