| Freeman announced that he had organized this match to decide who his Rookie
of the Year would be. He also offered to become the ‘mentor’ of whoever lost the
match to bring them up to ‘his level’. Both men struggled to gain a clear advantage early on. Haste made the first
move by hitting a jawbreaker and DDT back to back. E.Lectrifying continued with allowing
himself to be distracted but still managed to hit a springboard dropkick. A G9 attempt
backfired when Kiel hit an STO backbreaker and followed up with a moonsault for a two
count. Kiel’s show off tendencies hurt him when Haste hit him with a spinning back
suplex.
A reverse Huracanrana almost knocked Shane out but he still managed to kick out yet again.
A huge german suplex set Haste up to hit a top rope move but Freeman distracted him. Kiel
took the time to crotch Haste on the top rope and then roll him up for the 1-2-3.
Freeman then entered the ring to berate Shane for
losing the match. He then told Haste to join him in his newly found Feemanism. Haste
declined and was then subjected to an enziguiri and an American Nightmare (Styles Clash). |
