Slick Rick Sanders entered, albeit,
without his partner in commentary, Dancin’ Lukey. He could not
explain the absence but went on to present the awards alongside the
always stunning Dynamite Dolls. The winners were as follows:

The night certainly seemed to be off to
a good start for the ‘Rising Star’ with Mikey creating history by
becoming the only wrestler in EPW history to win the Wrestler of the
Year and Match of the Year in the same year. He also became the
first two time winner of the Match of the Year award.
