‘The Vagrant’ Nate Dooley defeated Slick Rick Sanders
These two men laid it all on the line at RE-AWAKENING. Whoever lost would be gone from EPW for good. Always the ones to put on a bit of a show, the entrances from these two men were wildly over the top and spectacular. Slick Rick’s, MI-2 performance would have done Tom Cruise proud and he came out looking absolutely jacked.
But the Vagrant was not to be outdone as we saw the debut of ‘The Natrix’.
But once the showmanship was set aside it was down to business for both men. Vagrant controlled this match early with Sanders showing the inexperience that goes hand in hand with having never wrestled a match. But the odds were soon evened as Devlin Reeves made his way down to ringside.

He acted a huge distraction to the Vagrant and everytime Slick Rick was in trouble, Reeves was there to lend a hand. But as the match progressed, Sanders started to impress with both his wrestling and his will to survive. But he wasn’t alone. The heart the Vagrant showed to survive against two men was off the page. The ref was taken out by accident by both men. Rick thought he had the match won after a he hit the Vagrant with a kryptonite krunch. But with a half conscious referee the Vagrant was able to kick out. Devlin’s next attempt to interfere backfired as he and Slick Rick both had powder thrown into their faces. With Devlin blinded, he nailed Slick with the Devlin Descent. Not long after Rick was put away with a kryptonite krunch from the Vagrant. After the battle the two men had just been through, Rick accepted his defeat and shook the Vagrant’s hand.

This enraged Devlin who confronted Rick. Sanders was clearly in no mood to be abused and he took Reeves out with the biggest R(ic)KO of all time. The crowd then respectfully cheered Slick Rick Sanders from the ring.
