Richter defeated Psychofett
It was then time to decide the Invitational tournament winner for 2004. This match was technical from the word go as Richter worked hard to protect his injured arm. But as the match started to heat up both men started to strike with greater frequency and Psychofett went after the arm of Richter.
Psychofett showed a side of himself that many had not seen as he turned into a straight shooting wrestler. Richter fought the pain and was not ready to give up. A one arm powerbomb and back suplex saw him get back into the match.

As the match became more desperate, we saw Psychofett make an effort to go after Richter’s injured arm rather than his left arm. He hit a Springboard crossbody to the outside which defied his size. But Richter then hip tossed the big red dragon onto the entrance ramp.

When the match returned to the ring, Azazal entered the match carrying a chair. The referee stripped him of the chair but as he threw the chair out, Azazal smashed Psychofett with a kendo stick. Richter then chokeslammed Azazal before turning his attention back to Psychofett. Richter reversed the burning hammer and then hit the Impaler to become the new Invitational champion. This guarantees Richter a title shot in 2005. But the question remains. What the hell was Azazal doing in this match?
