Jack Burbank announced that he was
giving the title shot to the leader of the Brat Pack. That brought
out Jamie Jurah and Devlin Reeves. Jamie said he accepted the title
match. Burbank looked a bit confused as he may have had the former
champion, FN Carnage, in mind. So did Carnage as he hit the ring and
argued with Jurah. Mikey then ran to the ring and made it clear that
he would take on all three men in a four way as he laid into Carnage
from the get go. He backdropped Carnage onto his Brat Pack team
mates before landing a huge moonsault from the top rope to the
floor. |

The ‘Rising Star’ then drilled Carnage
with the double knee backbreaker. Jurah seemed to avoid the action
at any cost and refused to tag in on many occasions. Tensions ran
high between the Brat Pack members as Devlin cheapshotted Carnage.
Their team work seemed to backfire more often than not as a stack-plex
turned into a super double knee backbreaker on Jamie. |

Devlin was first to be eliminated as he
tried to tag Jurah in. When Jamie refused, Devlin argued with him
only to stagger into a superkick for the three count. Curiously,
Jamie had a chance to break up the pin but didn’t. |

Mikey missed a moonsault and Carnage
seemed to have control until Jamie hung him over the top rope and
Mikey rolled him up for the elimination. Jamie then sprinted into
action before Mikey could blink and jumped him from behind. |

The match found its way to the outside
where the two men traded brutal chops before heading back inside
where Mikey almost had the win after a 2nd rope exploder suplex. He
went for the win but missed his trademark shooting star press. Two
shining wizards put Jamie in the driver’s seat but he couldn’t put
Mikey away. Even a belt shot from the Brat would not keep the
champion down. Carnage returned for a bit of revenge but Jurah
kicked out at two. Mikey then drilled Jamie with a brain buster and
a shooting star press to record a hard fought win. |

As the champ celebrated, the Brat Pack
turned on each other with all three blaming each other for the loss.
Carnage said that the time was right for the Brat Pack to go their
separate ways. He didn’t want to see their winning reputation ruined
as they fought amongst each other. But Devlin, refusing to let go,
said that he would not allow the Brats to disband. |

With everyone agreeing to disagree,
Lukey ordered that the three men face each other at EPW’s next
event, PLAYING FOR KEEPS. The winner would decide the fate of the
Brat Pack. |
