JIMMY PAYNE v JAMES STREET

Street fought hard in this match but he was always going to be pushing uphill against the former EPW champion. Jimmy was fired up as he tried to prove a point in his first match back from injury. Street managed to sneak a surprise two count early in the match which served to annoy Payne even further.


A snap german suplex put Jimmy in control as he went to work on the leg of Street. James continued to battle back as he hit Payne with a headscissors and a 2nd rope dropkick. As he attempted another headscissors he was met with a thunderous powerslam. A T-Bone suplex and a reverse suplex had Jimmy close to victory and he knew it. A samoan drop and gore left Street winded and ready to be finished off. Payne the applied the reverse figure four to secure the win in his comeback match. After the match Jimmy continued to apply the hold until Xeriyous Blade came down to ringside. Blade told Jimmy that he was suspect #1 in the mugging of Cartel. He said that Cartel would be back by PLAYING FOR KEEPS and challenged Payne to a match. The match was accepted.
