The Genetically Superior Team defeated The Bad Boys of Australian Wrestling to become the new EPW Tag Team Champions

This was a grudge match in every sense of the word. After almost 9 months, this issue was due to come to a head as the two teams battled for the EPW tag team titles. Conventional wrestling was thrown out the window as headlocks and hammerlocks were replaced by punches and kicks.

The Bad Boys of Perth wrestling didn’t even make it to the ring before a fired up GST jumped them from behind and started to pummel them in the aisle. The two teams fought around ringside before going for the tables almost immediately.

Lukey continually interfered to keep Dooley and Storm away from the tables. But he soon found himself trapped between Bobby and CJL with nowhere to run. Bobby drilled ‘King’ Lukey through a table to the crowd’s delight.

Soon after the tide swung as CJL appeared to re-injure his foot. Bobby seemed to have Nate under control but as he charged his foe, Storm came out of nowhere and smashed BBB off the apron and through the announce table.

Now in control, the Bad Boys forgot about the task at hand and seemed to just want to put a hurting on Lazareth. But their plan backfired. CJL sacrificed himself by jumping off the top rope to back senton Dooley through a table on the floor.

With Dooley eliminated, Storm turned it up a notch. With CJL down and out, all Storm had to do was put him through a table to claim the EPW tag team titles. Although dead on his feet, Bobby realised that he was the only thing standing between Storm and victory.

Storm laid into the youngster with boots and vicious forearms but could not keep him from helping his partner. With Bobby providing a chance for CJL to rest, it came down to Storm and CJL going punch for punch on the apron with a table laying in wait behind both men.

Storm assumed control but before he could finish the job, BBB sprung to life and knocked Storm off the apron through the table. GST were the champions once again. Michelle returned to ringside to celebrate with her friends in what may have been her last night in EPW.
