ForeFathers Promo
The show kicked off with the Forefathers hitting the
ring en masse. While Xeriyous Blade, Nate Dooley & Jimmy
Payne looked like a picture of solidarity, Justin Sane
looked more like the black sheep than ever.
Dooley spoke bitterly of the Forefathers losing their EPW
and tag team title matches in the last 6 months. He swore
that they would not quit until they achieved their goals and
that by the end of Night 2 at Evolution, the Forefathers
would be wearing all the gold in EPW.

Azazal v Chris Vice
After his shock loss to Shane Haste at Stand and
Deliver, the ‘Fallen Angel’ was looking to right the ship
with a victory. He was able to control the majority of the
bout but Vice showed the fighting spirit that we have all
learned to expect from him. But before he could even think
about a victory, his old partner, AZ Vegara, reared his
head. He tried to stick his nose into the match but ended up
colliding with Azazal, which set gave Vice the chance to hit
the Sliced Bread #2 for a shock win.
Vice by pinfall at 10:20 with a sliced bread #2

Justin Sane v Richter
Blade entered with some bad news for Justin. The
Forefathers were unhappy with his losing ways and were
demanding that he shape up or ship out. Blade said Justin
would have to wrestle three wrestlers of the Forefathers
choosing. If he didn’t win one of the matches it would be
three strikes and you’re out.
The first match in the challenge took place immediately and
his chosen opponent was former EPW champion, Richter. Justin
never really stood a chance as he had no way to prepare for
this giant. He fought on bravely on even managed to get some
momentum heading his way towards the end of the match but a
black hole slam put him down for the three count.
Richer by pinfall at 7:02 with a black hole slam

Brock Freeman v AZ Vegara
The ‘American Nightmare made his long awaited return to
EPW and looked fantastic. This match almost didn’t happen as
Vegara hit the ring explaining that he didn’t want to
wrestle Freeman as he had to participate in the main event
later that night. But as he tried to leave, Chris Vice made
his presence felt. With AZ trying to escape Vice he ran
straight back into the waiting arms of Freeman and this
match was underway.
Freeman dominated most of this bout but AZ managed to
(barely) keep his head above water for most of it. Brock hit
a huge powerbomb that could have spelt defeat for Vegara had
Azazal not entered to put his foot on the rope. Vice ran in
to even the odds and before we knew it, all four men were
brawling on the floor. Referee Matt Smarkson chose to DQ
both men before Jack Burbank made a tag match between the
four men for Evolution.
Match went to a double DQ at
6:20

Devlin Reeves v Psychofett
This match was the first qualifying match for the semi
finals of the Invitational tournament in 2006. With these
men being no strangers to each other, most expected a
physical match and that was exactly what they got. Reeves
was able to control a lot of the action through dirty
tactics but the ‘Red Dragon’ was not going to lay down
without a hell of a fight. He came back hard and seemed to
have the match sewn up when the referee caught an errant
boot and went down. Instead the ref missed a Reeves low blow
and returned just to count the three as Devlin had his feet
on the ropes for leverage.
Devlin by pinfall at 15:36 with feet on the ropes for
leverage
