EPW Tag Team Championship
Match
GST v The European Union
Most people expected GST to walk all over the Union and
that’s exactly what they got early on in this bout. But the
Union showed tenacity that we had not previously seen from
them. They were able to isolate both members of GST at
different times in this match and seemed to be on the verge
of victory a few times.
But CJL’s fighting spirit and Bobby’s amazing offensive
flurry proved to be the difference between the two teams. In
the closing moments of match, GST looked to have returned to
the height of their power before CJL injured his foot last
year. CJL drilled the Don with a missile dropkick before
Bobby finished the job with a huge axe kick to retain the
tag team titles.
After the match CJL set forth an open challenge for
Evolution to any team in Australia. For EPW officials the
search has commenced, Australia wide.

Devlin / Jurah Confrontation
Devlin Reeves re-emerged to call out Jamie Jurah.
Instead he brought out a Jamie impersonator who mocked Jamie
and the injuries he suffered at the hands of Reeves last
year. The fake Jamie declared that Devlin Reeves was indeed
better than Jamie Jurah. But while Reeves gloated, a figure
emerged from the crowd and onto the ring. The crowd exploded
as Jurah stood behind an unaware Reeves. When he turned
around, Devlin looked like he had seen a ghost and ran for
the safety of the dressing room. Fake Jamie was not so lucky
and after he slapped Jurah he received boot scrapes for his
trouble. Jamie Jurah was now back in EPW and looking for
revenge.

6 Man Scramble
This was really a 5 man scramble as one man in this
match was not interested in winning but in seeing his team
mate be successful. The action came fast and thick as they
all searched for a quick way to try and win the match.
Mikey was on fire after his loss at the last event and mowed
down anyone in his path. FN Carnage and Jimmy Payne also
came ready to play, having known exactly what it takes to
win the EPW championship.
With just about everyone brawling on the floor, Haste seized
the moment to throw Mikey out and have a prone Jimmy Payne
primed for a frog splash to end the match. Instead he looked
down at the pack forming on the floor and with the crowd
strongly behind him, executed a 450 moonsault to the floor.
However, Dooley was able to escape the impact and returned
into the ring and pulled an unconscious Jimmy on top of him
for the win. Jimmy now moves into the main event of
Evolution to face the EPW champion, Havok.
Just as it seemed like the night had come to an end, Mikey
called Haste back to the ring. He told Shane that in order
to succeed sometimes you have to do the unpopular thing.
Mikey then blamed Shane for wasting a golden opportunity not
just for him but for Mikey as well. Haste tried to shrug it
off and leave but Mikey grab him by the face and abused him
for being soft. He yelled at Shane to do the unpopular thing
and hit him. Haste seemed primed to strike but eventually
left the ring to clam down.
Mikey then made a challenge to Shane for Evolution. Will
Haste accept this huge challenge or does he have other plans
for Evolution?
