Invitational Qualifying Match
Psychofett vs Brock Freeman vs Richter vs James Street vs AZ Vegara vs Tommy Cartel
The rules were simple. Score a pin or submission and qualify for the Invitational tournament. Get pinned or submit, and you were gone. We were joined once again by the always ravin’, Anda Nothica, before the match began.
It was a fast paced start with AZ and James Street trading quick pinfall attempts. Psychofett and Los Freemanos then hooked it up in their interpretation of Lucha Libre. There was a lot less finesse and a lot more high impact as soon as Tommy Cartel and Richter hit the ring.

AZ soon found himself back in the fray and handled himself well. He used his speed to his advantage before Richter got a hold of him and slowed him down with a huge flapjack. With six men in the match, we were led to some interesting situations. A six man suplex and a six man boston crab were new scenes to an EPW ring.
Psychofett managed to score the first fall by pinning Brock Freeman after a huge skellidriver. The match then broke down as Xeriyous Blade tried to get involved. He attempted to hit Richter with his cane but found James Street’s head instead. A Richter lariat later and Street was gone. Richter had booked his place in the semi finals.
That left AZ Vegara at the mercy of Tommy Cartel who started to bully him around the ring.

But a still woozy James Street confronted Blade on the floor. That distracted Cartel who had AZ at his mercy. Cartel reached for James, who hung his neck on the top rope before running for his life. AZ then rolled Tommy up for a massive upset. Blade and Cartel then laid the youngster out before challenging James Street to a match for RE-AWAKENING
