| Explosive Pro Wrestling’s year-end
spectacular, Re-Awakening, is almost ready to rock the Margaret Cockman Pavilion. The card
has been finalized and looks set to be a fantastic night of action. We already know that Brad West and Jamie Jurah will battle it out
in a semi final of the EPW Invitational tournament. The other semi will see a 10-man Royal
Rumble take place. Only a few names have been announced for the Rumble at this stage. But
there are some huge names amongst them. EPW champion and last year’s Invitational
champion F.N. Carnage will be in the match. As will the 6 foot 4 inch giant Richter.
Another big man in the Rumble will be Tommy Cartel. Cartel made his debut in EPW by
destroying Shane Haste at the recent house show. Brock Freeman will also participate in
the Rumble and after reaching the finals last year, he will be looking to go one step
better this year. Other names to be entered are the tag team of BobbyBadBlood and Chris
Lazareth and Anda Nothica. The winner will then take on the winner of the West/Jurah match
later in the evening.
BobbyBadBlood will be facing a wrestler who has been on a
huge roll as of late. Justin Sane will step up and try to beat some respect into the
controversial BadBlood. After being screwed out of the EPW title at Out of Control, Justin
will be fired up for sure. Bobby will have his work cut out for him, especially if he wins
the Rumble and has to wrestle in the Invitational final as well. 3 matches in 1 night
would be a big ask for any wrestler.
Brock Freeman has also announced that he is in the process
of signing a match for Re-Awakening. We have absolutely no idea what that means at this
stage. Whether he is negotiating a match for himself or for somebody else is unclear right
now. We will keep you all informed as news comes to hand.
In a match that was signed at the recent house show,
Devlin Reeves will take on his old nemesis Psychofett. These two had an absolute classic
at Evil Intentions and have met on 2 other occasions. Every time these two get in the
ring, we can guarantee something different and unpredictable will happen. From
Devlin’s biker entrance at Evil Intentions, to the pizza debacle during the Rumble at
Evolution, these two are always extremely entertaining. With this match being declared a
‘softcore’ match by Devlin it should be something new no matter what the case.
And, of course, the main event. The Uprising are putting
their control of EPW at stake when they take on the team of Jimmy Payne, Davis Storm and
The Vagrant. If the Uprising lose, they must hand back control of EPW. However, if they
win the match, Davis Storm must join the Uprising. Both sides have plenty riding on this
match. With so much at stake, it was decided by both sides that this match would be a no
holds barred street fight. This is a match that has been a year in the making. Can Team
EPW wrest back control of this federation? Or will they lose another soldier to the enemy?
Whether you are a hardcore fan or a casual fan, this event
is not to be missed. It will be an absolutely huge event. Re-Awakening is the biggest
event of every EPW year and this year is no exception. The preshow will see the highlights
from every event this year displayed on the big screen. It will also see the presentation
of the end of year awards. The Dynamite Dolls will also be making their return for this
