After a year under Uprising control,
Explosive Pro Wrestling celebrates its return to control with its first event for 2004.
After being dead and buried for some time, the real EPW will rise from OUT OF THE
ASHES on the 10th of January 2004 taking place at the Margaret Cockman Pavilion.
EPW’s newest tag team takes on a team that has been around almost from day one of
EPW/ECWPerth. Devlin Reeves and Psychofett will have to put the comedy aside as they
prepare to do battle with The Uprising duo of Mikey and Azazal. This will be an awesome
first up task for Psychofett and Reeves, but with dissension brewing in the Uprising, now
could be the time for them to steal a surprise win. The Uprising need this win to get back
on track and set them up for the year 2004.
Another match already signed for Out of the Ashes will be a battle of the big men. Six
foot four Richter will battle the newest big man on the block, Tommy Cartel. These two
first crossed paths during the all in brawl at Inner Turmoil. Cartel got in Richter’s
face before exiting the ring before a punch could be thrown. The two met again in the
battle royal at Re-Awakening. This time they started to battle before FN Carnage snuck up
from behind and eliminated them both. Everyone is keen for these two to finally get in the
ring one on one and it will finally happen at Out of the Ashes.
