| 10/12/03 - A Short Messgae from Team EPW |
Written by Davis Storm
This message is from the three men who had the privilege of representing Team EPW at
Re-Awakening. Thank you to the other wrestlers in the back. Thank you for trusting us with
your careers and the future of the company that we all love. We hope we did you proud.
Thank you to every single fan who crammed into the Margaret Cockman Pavilion and gave us
back every bit of energy that we expended by standing up and screaming for us to continue
when we had nothing left to give. You kept us alive when we were dead on our feet.
We were just three men, attempting to fight the fight of every other wrestler in EPW and
every fan of EPW. And at the end of the day, we won. We all won.
So now we look forward to the coming year, 2004. A lot of wrongs were done to a lot of EPW
wrestlers last year. We can not undo all the wrong that was done over the last twelve
months. And I dont think we should. We have learned a lot of painful lessons over
the last year and they should not be forgotten.
However, the new board in charge of Explosive Pro Wrestling has made a decision to allow
Team EPW to deliver a small amount of justice next year. They have empowered Jimmy, the
Vagrant and myself to make one decision each in the new year, to try and deliver a little
bit of justice to this federation.
Two of the decisions have been made already. Jimmy Payne has decided that there was one
man who was more responsible for all the reprehensible acts committed last year than
anyone else. He has decided to wrestle that man in a one on one match. And in that match,
all other members of The Uprising will be banned from ringside. Jimmy has decided to fight
the leader of the Uprising, Xeriyous Blade in a one on one match up at Out of the Ashes.
Now onto my decision. I know that a lot of people were screwed over last year in EPW. But
there were two men who were screwed over in a huge way at Inner Turmoil. And then one of
them was screwed over in an EPW Title match at Out of Control. Im talking, of
course, about the Serial Thrillas, Justin Sane and 2003 EPW Invitational Champion Brad
West.
So at Out of the Ashes, I am naming the Serial Thrillas as the #1 contenders to the tag
team titles. They will face the Brat Pack one more time for the EPW Tag Team Titles.
The Vagrant has already decided what he wants to do with his choice BUT he wants to wait
until Out of the Ashes to actually announce what he will be doing. There will definitely
be some nervous people in the EPW locker room Im sure.
Again, thank you to you all for your support and I know that 2004 will certainly prove to
be a more successful year for this flourishing organization.
