There are two events in the calender year
that stand out for EPW. There can be no doubting that the biggest event of the year is
Re-Awakening. But with last year’s Event of the Year to its name, EVOLUTION must not
be far behind.
Let’s take a look back at the history of EPW’S EVOLUTION. EVOLUTION 2002 saw the
first ever EPW champion crowned as Davis Storm defeated Jimmy Payne in a match that saw
the debut of the rolling storm.
EVOLUTION 2003 saw a new concept taken on by EPW. EVOLUTION 2003 took place over two
consecutive nights. A tag team tournament was held to decide the first ever EPW Tag Team
champions. The Brat Pack came away with the win over the team of Davis Storm and Jimmy
Payne.
We are proud to announce that, with the success of EVOLUTION 2003, EVOLUTION 2004 will
also be held over two nights. It will take place at the Margaret Cockman Pavilion on the
7th and 8th of May 2004.
We have no announcements regarding matches or format but we can already confirm that there
will be interstate talent on the show. EPW prides itself in trying to bring our fans the
best wrestlers Australia has to offer and we can guarentee that this will certainly be the
case at EVOLUTION 2004.
Ticket prices have yet to be set but will be announced as soon as a decision has been
made. |
