With the path to Re-Awakening slowing forming, EPW’s wrestlers
are on a Collision Course. But what twists and turns will the
journey to Re-Awakening take. The only way to find out is to be
at the Wanneroo Community Centre on 31st July 2004. We have some
HUGE matches taking place at Collision Course including a
massive main event. But we’ll get to that in a minute.
The tag team division in EPW is heating up. With Brad West on
the shelf, the Serial Thrillers are unable to make a tag team
title defense at Collision Course. GST were the ones responsible
for injuring Brad, after scoring a cheap disqualification
victory at Hell or Highwater. But the new team of Shane Haste
and Kiel E. Lectrifying were equally impressive in defeating the
Brat Pack. So it has been decided that these two teams will face
off at Collision Course with the winners becoming the #1
contenders for the tag team titles.
Slick Rick has announced that he has a proposal for the Vagrant.
After the confrontation these two had at Hell or Highwater,
Rick’s motives are unclear. Will the ‘People’s Tramp’ get the
chance to fight ‘Colonel’ Sanders? Or will Slick Rick chicken
his way out of the Vagrant’s challenge?
Another big match up for Collision Course will see Richter seek
revenge on former EPW champion, FN Carnage. Carnage was
responsible for Richter being eliminated in the Gauntlet match
at Hell or Highwater. Richter had already eliminated Azazal and
Jamie Jurah. It looked as if he may go on to win the Gauntlet
match and go on to Re-Awakening as the #1 contender. But it was
not to be as Carnage laid him out with a belt shot that left him
prone for Tommy Cartel. Carnage will be fired up after losing
the EPW title. This match should be a bruising encounter.
And finally, the main event. The confrontation that took place
between Mikey and Davis Storm at Hell or Highwater, made it
clear that both men are itching to get to Re-Awakening. Mikey
wants to finally wear the gold to prove that he is best wrestler
in EPW. Storm has fought long and hard to get his hands on the
title and wants a chance to defend it against the best
competition in EPW. Explosive Pro Wrestling officials will not
allow Storm to defend the title against Mikey before
Re-Awakening. But they also understand that the fire that both
men showed at Hell or Highwater, cannot be contained until
November. So, they have decided that Davis Storm will face Mikey
at Collision Course in a non-title match!!!!! What will happen
when the #1 contender and the champion meet in singles
competition for the VERY FIRST TIME.
