- In the biggest news to come
out of the New Year period, the new #1 contender, Richter,
has suffered a relatively serious knee strain while
preparing for his assault on the EPW title. He will undergo
arthroscopic surgery this week in order to find how much
damage he has done to the leg but is not expecting to be fit
in time for Survival of the Fittest. When we spoke to him,
Richter was philosophical about the injury but insists that
he wants to go into his title shot at 100% to give himself
the best chance of victory.
- James Street suffered
bruised ribs during his match with Azazal at RE-AWAKENING
2004 but has healed up nicely and should be ready to go by
SOTF.
- Tommy Cartel’s numerous
injuries look to have healed and he is fit and raring to go.
He is obviously keen to discover who it was that attacked
him before RE-AWAKENING.
- The rest of the roster
appears to be well rested after the holiday break and should
all be available for Survival of the Fittest in just three
short weeks.
