14/04/05 - Board of Directors Release

Firstly, we would like to thank all the wonderful EPW fans who continue to support us as we venture into our fourth year of existence. We have held several meetings over the past few weeks to discuss some outstanding issues and to make some important decisions.

It is our pleasure to announce that EVOLUTION will again be held over two nights and will take place at the Wanneroo Showgrounds on the 27th and 28th of May 2005. This has been the event of the year for two years running and we expect it to set the standard once again in 2005.

In regards to the main event of EVOLUTION 2005. The Board has decided to make the main event a three way dance for the EPW title. We have also decided that the two challengers will be interstate wrestlers. This will ensure that the main event will be a match that has never been seen by our fans. We have also taken the unusual step of allowing the EPW champion to decide who those two wrestlers will be. So at the conclusion of FLAME OR FORTUNE, the board will sit down with either Psychofett or Mikey and ask who they would like to see participate in this match.

After a lengthy discussion, the board voted 4-2 to take no action against Richter for his mistreatment of the referee after the EPW championship match at PLAYING FOR KEEPS. However, he has been warned that future discretions may lead to action being taken.

Davis Storm has quit as co-head trainer of the Dynamite Factory. Mr Storm handed in his notice to the EPW Board of Directors a little over a month ago after a lengthy dispute with the Board over various issues. These issues have been continuing for over six months now and the board felt that it could not move on the issues that Davis was arguing for. FN Carnage will continue as the head trainer with assistance from other EPW wrestlers.

We would like to thank you all once again for your support and hope that you are enjoying the action and entertainment that EPW have provided so far this year. We hope to see you all at the next show.
