Main Event Announcement

We, at epwperth.com recently received the following announcement
from the Board of Directors.
‘Explosive Pro Wrestling’s Evolution is only a few weeks away
and we have finally completed the task of formalizing the main
event for Evolution 2005. We feel that over the years, the main
event of Evolution has provided our fans with unique action.
Evolutions 2002 and 2003 saw the inception of the EPW
championship and the tag team titles respectively. Last year we
witnessed one of the most incredible matches in EPW history as
FN Carnage defended his title against the Australian wrestling
icon, Lobo, in a taped fists street fight.
As many of you know, we asked the champion to select two
interstate wrestlers to challenge for the EPW title at Evolution
in a three way dance. Mikey selected Jag and Havok for this
match. The EPW Board of Directors then received complaints that
no EPW wrestlers were being given the opportunity to wrestle for
the title at one of the biggest shows of the year. The Board
acknowledges that this was an oversight and our part and we then
set about naming a fourth wrestler for the match. In keeping
with the theme of the match, we asked Mikey to select an EPW
wrestler for the match.
Mikey has selected an individual who he has warred with on many
previous occasions. The fourth man in the match will be Jimmy
Payne. So the main event of Evolution will now see Mikey defend
his EPW championship against Jag, Havok and Jimmy Payne in a
four way.
We hope to have more details on the card as soon as possible and
would like to thank the fans for their great support in 2005
thus far.’
So there you have it fans. The man who battled Mikey in the 2002
Match of the Year will be striving for EPW gold at Evolution.
With four of the best wrestlers EPW has ever seen in one match,
you can expect fireworks.
