EPW News & Rumours

13/07/05 - Hell or Highwater just 3 days away

With Hell or Highwater just a few days away, we figured we’d give you a hit of all the latest EPW news and rumours.

Mikey has been training like a man possessed since recovering from the injuries he sustained at Evolution. But after chatting to him, we do not expect to see him using much of his wrestling talent against Richter. Mikey wants to use the street fight rules to hurt Richter in as many ways as he possibly can. But the new champ will try to use Mikey’s rage to his advantage. He knows that Mikey’s temper is the reason that he was able to take the title from the ‘Rising Star’ in the first place and will try to exploit that on the 16th.

FN Carnage has become Tommy Cartel’s mentor of sorts over the past few weeks. He sees a lot of potential in his former student but has seen it all go to waste in his first year and a half in EPW. Carnage asked that he and Cartel be put in a tag team match at HOHW. Jimmy Payne was eager to accept the challenge but has yet to nominate a partner. He has issues to settle with both men. Cartel injured Payne last year, while Carnage was the man who beat Jimmy for his EPW title two years ago. He will announce his partner on the night.

And speaking of Carnage, he has said that Azazal will have to be on his best behaviour at HOHW. If he meets all of Carnage’s requirements on the night, he will be considered to be let back into EPW. Whether or not Azazal can control his temper and take orders is yet to be seen.

GST and Awsome Inc seem ready to end their feud once and for all. Their battle for the tag titles has gone on for quite some time and with Michelle out of the picture, this should decide which team is the best that EPW has to offer.

And finally, Devlin Reeves is promising to end Jamie Jurah’s career once and for all. He says that Jurah should take the Last Man Standing stipulation very seriously as he is planning for Jurah to never stand ever again. But Jurah has shown a serious streak of toughness this year. It has proven to be near impossible to keep Jamie down for three seconds let alone ten.

Well that’s all the latest from EPW. We hope to see you all at HOHW which promises to be one of the shows of the year. Do not miss this show at the Venville Centre in Maylands.
