17/08/05 - Cause For Concern Update

Explosive Pro Wrestling will present its next event , Cause for Concern on the 27th August 2005. It will take place at the Alma Venville Recreation Centre in Maylands.

As we already know, the main event will see Australia’s two premier wrestlers, Mikey and Jag, teaming up to tackle two former EPW champions, in Richter and Jimmy Payne. This is set to be a huge match with both sides eager to settle a score with each other.

We also know that BobbyBadBlood will fight Davis Storm with Nate Dooley as special guest referee. Storm has had issues with GST since Evolution and wants to embarrass BBB and become the #1 contender to the tag team titles. Bobby simply wants to beat the crap out of Storm for injuring Michelle and stealing CJL’s tag team title belt. Dooley will have his work cut out for him in order to keep control of this one.

Three way tag action will be on the menu at Cause for Concern as two new teams tackle another young tag team. The European Union will face off against the teams of Chris Vice and AZ and the very odd combination of James Street and Brock Freeman. This match should be an interesting blend of styles.

And in a bit of a surprise, Azazal has sent a challenge in FN Carnage’s direction. He has said that he has been training hard with a new rookie and wants his protégé to square off with Carnage’s protégé, Tommy Cartel. The challenge has been accepted and the two will do battle on August 27th.

We have also been promised that two people will receive the chance to qualify for the RE-AWAKENING Invitational tournament. The winner of this match will join Devlin Reeves and James Street who have already qualified for the finals.

Tickets are still available from EMPIRE TOYS in the city. Tickets purchased before the night are as follows:
GENERAL - $13.50
KIDS (Under 12) - $7
FAMILY - $35 (2 General + 2 Kids)

Tickets will be available at the door at a cost of $16.50 for general entry and $10 for kids under 12. Doors will open at 6:45pm with the action starting at 7pm.

Alcohol will be available in our 18+ section so make sure you bring your ID if you intend to drink. The 18+ section still has a fantastic view of all the action. For any other info please ring 0411 570 021. We hope to see you all there.
