For the fans, the staff and the
wrestlers, RE-AWAKENING is not just another wrestling show. Over
the past four years, RE-AWAKENING has defined Explosive Pro
Wrestling. It is a night filled with excitement and passion. It
is a night that celebrates the past 12 months in EPW while
delivering the best possible wrestling to its loyal fans.
And there can be no doubt that 2005 will see the biggest
RE-AWAKENING in this company’s history. In fact this could go
down as the biggest night in Australian wrestling history.
The main event will see the single most important match to ever
take place in Explosive Pro Wrestling. Mikey and Jag will go one
on one for the EPW title in a 2 out of 3 falls match. This match
will feature two of the very best wrestlers in Australia
fighting it out for the most prestigious title in Australia.
As if that match wasn’t reason enough to come, Azazal and FN
Carnage will settle their differences once and for all at
RE-AWAKENING. But this will be no ordinary match. They will go
to war in EPW’s first ever STEEL CAGE MATCH. Azazal will be more
desperate than ever, as his EPW career will be on the line. If
Carnage wins, Azazal will be forced to leave EPW forever.
The tag team titles will also be defended in a match that will
feature plenty of bad blood, no pun intended. GST attempt to
recapture the tag titles from the men who stole them from them
at Dirty Deeds, Davis Storm and Nate Dooley. Bobby and Lazareth
have promised to avenge their loss at Dirty Deeds and reclaim
the gold on November 12th.
The Invitational Tournament will again be a highlight of
RE-AWAKENING. This is the longest running tournament in
Australian wrestling and the winner will receive an EPW title
match in the future. After a long qualification period we are
down to six men. These six men have been split into two-3 man
elimination matches. The winners of these two matches will face
off for the right to call themselves the Invitational winner for
2005. Devlin Reeves, Richter and Shane Haste will make up one
bracket. The other will see Kiel E.Lectrifying, James Street and
a yet to be named interstate wrestler.
But that’s not all. We will also witness Jimmy Payne and
Psychofett lock horns in a grudge match, six months in the
making. Ever since Jimmy has returned to EPW, these two have
been on a collision course. Payne seems determined to show
Psychofett that he has made a bad decision in not helping the
ForeFathers in their quest. The ‘Red Dragon’ is fighting the
ForeFathers from the frontline and wants to teach Jimmy a lesson
by beating him at the biggest show of the year.

RE-AWAKENING will also see the return of the beautiful Dynamite
Dolls who have been AWOL all year long. We will see the
presentation of the End of Year Awards by yet to be named hosts.
And in a huge coup, local metal favourites, ANTISTATIC, will
rock RE-AWAKENING just like HeavyWeightChamp did three years
ago.
There can be no doubt that this will be the biggest show that
EPW has ever held. 6 massive matches already announced with one
more to come. EPW officials have one match left to announce and
will do so in the near future.
