The third EPW Goldmembers house
show for 2006 was held this past weekend at the Dynamite Factory
in Maddington.
The opening bout saw an entertaining bout between the
‘Awe-Inspiring’ Shane Haste and Chris Vice. Shane controlled a
lot of this match but Vice was able to hold on and take Shane to
the 10 minute time limit to force a draw.
Tommy Cartel made his long awaited return to the ring to face
Justin Sane. Despite battling a head cold, (and Justin’s
attempts to buy him off with a packet of butter menthols) Cartel
was able to make Justin tap out to his reverse cloverleaf.
Another EPW wrestler would make his return but it would be a
painful one. Kiel E.Lectrifying came face to face with the #1
contender to the EPW championship, Jimmy Payne. Despite his best
efforts, Kiel fell victim to Jimmy’s Texas cloverleaf finisher.
Azazal made short work of Jay Taylor but the rookie showed
plenty of spirit as he withstood a vicious beating from a fired
up ‘Fallen Angel’.
Jonny Wimbledon tried hard but came up a little short in his
quest to best one half of the EPW tag team champions, Chris J
Lazareth.
And in the main event, a fierce and spirited battle took place
between BobbyBadBlood and FN Carnage. With Lazareth and Tommy
Cartel watching on, both men gave it everything they had with
Bobby bleeding profusely from the mouth. Carnage was just about
to deliver his patented elbow drop when the time limit expired.
