After the incredible events that
took place at Evolution, Hell or Highwater is set to be a huge
night. Indeed, it should be a ‘Night of Grudges’. Hell or
Highwater will take place at the Venville Rec Centre on July 8th
2006. We already have 3 huge grudge matches announced.
Jamie Jurah will finally get his chance for retribution as he
takes on Devlin Reeves in a First Blood match. This is the first
time that this match has been held in EPW. The rules are tailor
made for brutality and you can expect both men to pull out all
the stops in this one.
The feud between AZ Vegara & Chris Vice has been brewing since
Re-Awakening last year and after plenty of stalling, they will
finally get in on at Hell or Highwater. Either man could make
their reputation in this match and climb the ladder to success
at the other man’s expense.
Azazal has been out of his mind since the return of the
‘American Nightmare’. These men battle in a one on one match
earlier this year but it was Los Freemanos who battled Azazal
that night. Ever since his return, the ‘American Nightmare’
Brock Freeman has been on a tear in EPW. But Azazal is known for
his big match performances. He was in the first ever cage &
chain matches, respectively, to be held in EPW and his
performances in those matches were unreal. This match should be
a battle.
We know to expect Jimmy Payne to be defending the EPW
championship at HOHW but we do not have an opponent yet.
Apparently Payne has an opponent in mind and has said that he
will make his announcement in due time. He also added that the
match would be fought under his terms.
In two matches to be announced, one half of the new EPW tag team
champions, Davis Storm, will face off against the
‘Awe-Inspiring’, Shane Haste. And a tag team bout will take
place between the European Union and the team of FN Carnage and
his protégé, Tommy Cartel.
