EPW News & Rumours
15/06/06 - Injury report from Evolution

With every member of the roster out to make an impression at Evolution, you can count on people getting hurt. And with a murderous Jimmy Payne on the rampage you can bet that the body count was higher than usual. All jokes aside there were some serious injuries suffered and we should take a look at that now.

** Anella was probably the most severe injury after being drilled through a table onto the floor of the Venville Rec Centre. Although we have no word from her or Havok, information has been passed on from EPW management that she is recovering from a severe concussion at home in Adelaide. The former EPW champion also suffered a compressed vertebrae from the spike piledriver he received. He shouldn’t be out of action for too long but has been warned that returning to the ring to early may result in more time off.

** BobbyBadBlood has a concussion and bruised ribs to add to his list of woes. The former champion was believed to over his injuries quickly but immediately requested a leave of absence to assess here future here in EPW. His tag team partner Chris J Lazareth hurt his shoulder while delivering a huracanrana to Jag on Night 2. He managed to fight on through out the match but it was made slightly worse after Davis Storm delivered an Eye of the Storm on the ring apron. It was first feared that it had been separated but it is now apparent that was not the case and he should be ready to go at Hell or Highwater.

** Chris Vice & Brock Freeman suffered bruised ribs on Night 1 after an attack by Jimmy Payne. This just makes their effort on Night 2 against Azazal and AZ more remarkable.

** James Street suffered a strained knee after the ring post figure four attack by Brad West. Fortunately, early intervention by the referees and medics ensured that he did not receive a more serious injury and he is getting closer to 100% as we speak.

** Mikey appeared to suffer no ill effects from being cut open by the ring post.

** And finally it appears that Jack Burbank may have received a bruised ego when Brad West slapped him in the face. Here’s hoping I don’t lose my job over that one..
