EPW News & Rumours
02/07/06 - EPW's Hell or Highwater

Hell or Highwater is now less than a week away and things are heating up. This event has been billed as a Night of Grudges and that is certainly the way things are looking.

The main event will see a STREET FIGHT for the EPW championship. 12 months ago, Mikey and Richter mixed it up in a street fight at Hell or Highwater that was voted Match of the Year for 2005. This year will see the brand new champion, Jimmy Payne, tackle Chris J Lazareth. Can CJL make the impossible happen or will Jimmy end his career once and for all?

But that’s not all. Long time adversaries Devlin Reeves and Jamie Jurah will settle their score once and for all in a FIRST BLOOD MATCH. This issue has been simmering for more than 12 months and will come to bloody end on July 8th.

In another clash of former tag team partners, AZ Vegara and Chris Vice will go one on one. Their first singles match has been a long time coming and both men will be looking forward to finally getting their hands on each other.

Azazal may have unleashed the old Brock Freeman on EPW, but will that become a Nightmare for him on July 8th. The ‘Fallen Angel’ will tackle the ‘American Nightmare’ in a match with plenty of ill will.

The rest of the show looks like this:

FN Carnage & Tommy Cartel v European Union

Davis Storm v Shane Haste

Jay Taylor v James Street

Tickets are still available from Planet Video & 78 Records in the city. This is a not to be missed event so make sure you get there on the night. Call 0411 570 021 for any other details.
