28/06/07 - Winter Warfare Announcement

14th July 2007 will see the biggest Rumble in EPW take place. A final number of entrants has not yet been decided as EPW officials continue negotiations with various wrestlers. The winner of this Rumble will go on to face whoever escapes from Desperate Measures with the EPW Championship.

EPW officials have released the names of the first 10 competitors entered in the July 14th Rumble. Jose’ Del Santo, Justin Sane, Dan Moore, Chris Vice, current EPW tag team champions the Fighting Hellfish, Devlin Reeves, AZ Vegara, James Street and Bobby Marshall will all compete for a shot at the gold.

At Hell or Highwater, Devlin Reeves tried to play peacemaker between Bobby Marshall and Shane Haste. Well it appears that Devlin’s words meant little to Marshall who went on to cost Haste his shot at the EPW championship. Reeves has since stated that seeing he can’t talk any sense into Bobby, he plans on beating it into him at Winter Warfare. This will be the first time these two men have ever faced off in singles competition and it should be a beauty.

It was announced at the EPW Goldmember’s show on Saturday that Ferguson Block would receive another match for the EPW tag team titles. Well Block has decided to hang onto his shot until he can find a suitable partner for his assault at the titles. But that doesn’t mean he’s done with the Fighting Hellfish for now, as he will face one half of the tag champs, FN Carnage.

Spike Steele’s open challenge has thus far gone unanswered by all in EPW. The challenge will be fought under Spike’s rules which simply state that there will be no count outs. This means that a wrestler can spend as long as he likes, punishing his opponent on the outside. These rules seem to favour Steele’s rough house approach to his wrestling which has seen him become one of the most feared competitors in the locker room. Spike Steele's Challenge.

And of course, Jamie Jurah will lead his Jurahnaughts into battle against the European Union in a 6 man War. This battle has already seen casualties and Jamie Jurah has announced that Rusty Evans would be laid to rest after being driven through a table at Hell or Highwater. After Rusty’s funeral, how will Jamie and the Jurahnaughts respond in this war.
