In the past two years, we have seen the development of some of
the original graduates from EPW’s Dynamite Factory.
Bobby Marshall has become a two time EPW tag team champion and
has taken part in two of the finest matches ever seen in Western
Australian wrestling history.
Shane Haste has risen from being in a highly popular tag team to
becoming the 2007 Invitational Tournament winner.
And of course, Chris J Lazareth has carved a career for himself
as a tag team specialist becoming the only three time EPW tag
team champion ever.
Well with that in mind, EPW officials are keen to give some of
our younger and less experienced wrestlers the chance to shine.
So at the next EPW members show, EPW will hold the inaugural
Rising Star Cup. This will be a one night tournament featuring
eight of EPW’s finest young wrestlers. It will be a single
elimination tournament with the last man standing becoming the
very first Rising Star winner.
The tournament will be held on September 8th at the Dynamite
Factory. The first four names for the tournament have been
confirmed for the tournament. They are:
‘The Jurahnaut’s’ Chase & Dan Moore
‘The Golden Greek’ Marcius Pitsonopolous
& Jose Del Santo.
This should be a great night of action with the future stars of
EPW getting the chance to shine. Hope to see all of our great
members there.
