14/03/08 - ROADSHOW II tomorrow night!

ROAD SHOW II

Explosive Pro Wrestling returns to the Northern suburbs with another blockbusting 'Roadshow', Emanating live from the Craigie Leisure Centre in Whitfords.
While the past few months have been huge for EPW, the momentum continues this Saturday with some incredible matches and a main event that will surely please all in attendance.

Your NWA Australian Champion is in action as the 'International Wrestling Superstar', Mikey Nicholls, goes one-on-one with longtime rival Ferguson Block in a non-title match. If this bout is anything like their EPW Championship match at Flame or Fortune some years ago, the roof will definitely be blown off the Craigie Leisure Centre. And no doubt Nicholls will be thankful for the tough match as he prepares to defend his coveted piece of gold at Rise or Fall against the winner of this week's Monday Night Wrestling main event of Hartley Jackson versus Davis Storm.

Chaos is set to ensue as the Fighting Hellfish and Devlin Reeves take on a team made up of all the current EPW Champions. The arrogant tag team of the European Union join forces with the self proclaimed 'Best Wrestler in the Country', Bobby Marshall. No titles are on the line in this matchup, but you can be certain a victory by either Devlin Reeves or a member of the Hellfish puts them in great stead for a shot at title glory in the not too distant future.

Someone who couldn't be further from title glory however is Nate Dooley. Having been thoroughly embarrassed by the 'Mexican Sensation' Jose Del Santo at GoldRush, he will now take on high-flying newcomer Alex 'The Kid' Kingston. Will Shane Haste's rookie protégé be able to stave off the cheating ways of his wily opponent or will this be another dubious victory for the pompous Dooley?

After defeating Chase Griffin at Goldrush, 'Azazal' Drake Wallace looks to complete the double as he takes on Griffin’s tag partner, Dan Moore. Moore & his tag partner Chase Griffin have had more than a couple of problems with Drake Wallace and one would assume it's going to be another tough night between the ropes for the former referee. But you can be certain Moore will always give 110% and this should be a top encounter.
Just as Moore can be counted on to give his all, the same can be said about Chase. Saturday night will be no different as Chase Griffin goes one-on-one with another relative newcomer in Sebastian Xander. Xander has impressed all with his raw-power and killer instinct and you can be certain this rookie is set to make 2008 his own.

Fresh off a big victory at GoldRush, Jose Del Santo hopes to keep his Mexican Wave of winning flowing as he has the hard task of dispatching the clearly unstable Chris Vice. Chris Vice made a great account of himself on the debut taping of Monday Night Wrestling and this match should be a great contest.

EPW officials keep the good times rolling as they are treating fans to one of the most requested rematches in EPW history as Jimmy Payne steps in the ring with his nemesis Davis Storm in your Roadshow II Main Event. We have seen these two veterans lock horns many times over the years and each time, the matches have gone down as serious contenders for Match of the Year. Wrestling purists will be in heaven as two of the most technically gifted wrestlers in the country meet under the bright lights of the Craigie Leisure Centre as this 'Roadshow' stakes it's claim as a not to be missed event of 2008!
