Evolution night two is always a
highlight of the EPW calendar. Over the years it has proven to
drive the wrestlers to another level as they try to etch their
name in Perth wrestling history.
The main event of Evolution 2008 night two will see Bobby
Marshall have to defend his EPW championship against a man he
has never beaten. At the Monday Night Wrestling tapings, Mikey
Nicholls & Shane Haste fought for the right to face Bobby for
the title on night two and after a tremendous battle it was
Nicholls who came out on top. Nicholls has traveled the world &
created history many times here in Perth & abroad. Both men will
face extremely tough matches on night one & this will be a
battle of wills to see who will walk out as the EPW champion.
Davis Storm & Jimmy Payne have a rivalry that has spanned more
than six years. At Evolution night two, it will finally come to
a close. And it will come to a close in the form of a match
which has not been seen in EPW since 2002. These two men will
take this fight to the fans as they go to war in a Falls Count
Anywhere match. This means that the match can end absolutely
anywhere. Pins & submissions will not only count in the ring but
anywhere in Maylands. This will not be for the feint of heart.
Night two will see Devlin Reeves fighting to keep his career
alive. His problems with Brett Corvus saw him suspended from EPW
at Rise or Fall. Corvus has decided to give Reeves an
opportunity to win back his spot on the EPW roster. But it will
not be an easy task as he faces former EPW tag team champions,
Ferguson Block & Drake Wallace, in a handicap match. Come night
two, these two may yet again be the tag team champions & this
match may prove to be the end of Devlin Reeves’ career.
These three huge matches have been announced with more to come
closer to the day. Evolution always delivers something special
and this year should be no different.
