Explosive Pro Wrestling has played host to some emotional
battles over the past seven years, each requiring new levels of
courage and determination.
But nothing experienced in an EPW ring compares to the fight
needed to beat Ovarian Cancer.
Every woman has a 1 in 90 chance of developing ovarian cancer
and due to most cases being diagnosed in an advanced stage,
proportionally, more woman die from ovarian cancer than any
other form of this horrific disease.
The cause of ovarian cancer is still unknown and currently in
Australia, it will kill one woman every 10 hours. Between now
and Re-Awakening, 200 families will lose a mother, sister or
daughter.
Explosive Pro Wrestling, in conjunction with Fitness First,
BenZen Mind/Body/Health and BHP Billiton are proud to support
the 'Spin For A Silver Lining', a marathon indoor cycling event
with the hope of raising $10,000 for ovarian cancer research.
EPW is proud to dedicate our huge wrestling spectacular 'Road to
Glory' on August 30th to the ‘Spin for a Silver Lining’ event
and we need your help to raise as much money as possible for
this worthy cause.
On October 12 2008, Fitness First Floreat will play host to this
massive charity event and several EPW wrestlers will be joining
in for the ride! ‘Spin for a Silver Lining’ is a huge indoor
cycling challenge made up of 4 hour-long intense spin-classes
back to back.
Which EPW wrestlers could get through the intense sessions
successfully? And which EPW wrestlers will do it tough and plead
to be allowed off the bikes? Whatever the case, Explosive Pro
Wrestling will do whatever we can to help and we hope that we
can count on our dedicated fans to support us in supporting
those in need.
At Road to Glory, there will be many opportunities for you to
sponsor the EPW wrestlers who participate in the 'Spin For A
Silver Lining'. Collection tins will be present at both the bar
and merchandise stand so we encourage fans to chip in for this
worthy cause. We will also be raffling off a one off EPW
memorabilia collectors item to help raise much needed funds for
the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
