For the
past four years, Michael Morleone and
Marcius Pitsonopolous have been team mates as
part of the longest running stable in EPW history.
But on March 21st, they will go head to head to see
who the better man is.
The European Union were never the most
successful team in EPW but they have always been
like a brotherhood. They have always watched each
others backs, mostly due to them being three of the
most despised wrestlers in the dressing room.
But recently they were reports surfacing that cracks
were beginning to develop in the team. The constant
losing had started to get to Jonathon Wimbledon, who
as the mouthpiece of the group, felt his team were
letting him down.
Morleone on the other hand, thought that Wimbledon’s
mouth had gotten them into trouble on too many
occasions and that his body was being sacrificed
simply because of his teammates inability to keep
his big mouth closed.
At the
Great Aussie Bash, Morleone and
Pitsonopolous put on the best display of their
careers as they went toe to toe with Davis Storm
and Richter. Morleone was pleased with their
effort and thought that their strong showing could
be a launch pad back into the tag team title
picture.
But instead he was berated by Wimbledon for
suffering yet another loss. The final straw came at
Aftershock. Yet another mistake by Wimbledon
cost Morleone what could have been a huge win.
Instead of an apology, the Don received another
tongue lashing from his British counterpart.
Morleone had enough and finally walked out on the
Union for good.
After speaking with Morleone, he revealed that he is
determined not to get drawn into a long running feud
with his former team mates.
“They’ve been dragging me down for far too long,”
the Don said. “I need to get this out of my system
and get on with my career.”
When asked for comment, Wimbledon said that he
couldn’t agree more and once Pitsonopolous had put
that ‘turncoat’ in his place, the Union would be
moving on to ‘more important business.’
