Ever since the conclusion of Aftershock, EPWPERTH.COM have been working hard to find out what the main event of Goldrush will be.

EPW officials have been coy about the subject thus far but have said that the match will see the EPW championship being defended. That means that we can confirm that the Ironman Davis Storm will be in the main event of Goldrush putting his championship on the line.

An anonymous member of the Board also revealed that the champion himself has been the driving force behind trying to make this main event match happen. “Davis Storm has been a tremendous champion since taking the belt last August,” the board member said. “He feels that this match could be a defining moment in his championship reign and is intent on seeing it happen.”

Apparently the Board were not 100% behind Storm’s choice of challenger but the champion has been working overtime to convince them to make the match.

When asked for a comment, Storm would only say, “One of the greatest champions of all time said it best. To be the man you gotta beat the man. People may feel like I have nothing to prove but I have something to prove to myself. I have to make this match happen.”
