It
seems that GOLDRUSH II is the event for former team
mates to do battle. In addition to Marcius
Pitsonopolous and Michael Morleone we
will also see AZ Vegara and JT go one
on one.
But there is a twist to this match. As the winner of
the Invitational Tournament at RE-AWAKENING 7,
JT received an EPW championship match to use at his
discretion. Thus far, Taylor has turned down offers
from EPW management to cash in his title shot,
saying that he is waiting for the right time to
strike.
AZ Vegara has caught wind of this fact and has
demanded that JT ‘use it or lose it’.
“JT was always number three in our stable,” AZ
commented. “He’s only going to choke when he cashes
in his title shot, so he may as well just hand it
over to me at
GOLDRUSH
II. I’m on the longest winning streak of my
career and in a few weeks time, I’ll add Jay’s name
to the list.”
Jay Taylor has shown that he will never back down
from a challenge and has agreed to not only face AZ
on March 21st, but also put his future title shot on
the line.
JT has been on the hottest winning streak in EPW
since being dumped from Bobby Marshall’s group but
AZ’s winning streak is almost as impressive and both
men will go into the match with plenty of
confidence.
With people lining up to take a shot at Davis
Storm’s EPW championship, this match could
decide the next challenger to the gold. Can AZ jump
the queue on March 21st? Or will JT’s charge to the
gold continue?
