NEW CHAMPIONS CROWNED!
BOBBY MARSHALL SERIOUSLY INJURED!
RICHTER ON A RAMPAGE!
Any of the above three phrases could be a noteworthy
headline at EPWPERTH.COM. But after the shocking
events as
GOLDRUSH
II all three must be covered in the same
article.

GOLDRUSH lived up to it’s name for yet again
as for the second year in a row, both the EPW
championship and the EPW tag team titles changed
hands.
Bobby Marshall defied his critics to not only
defeat Davis Storm for the EPW championship
but to do it without the help of his entourage. In
fact, after his team defied his wishes and got
involved in the match, he attacked both Damian
Slater and AZ Vegara.
The crowd was shocked as Marshall celebrated
becoming a two time EPW champion. But the biggest
shock of the night was yet to come. Marshall was
assaulted by Richter who powerbombed the new
champion over the top rope and through a table.

As if the impact was not enough, Marshall, who was
stunned by the attack, landed awkwardly and is
currently faced with a lengthy stay on the
sidelines.
Bobby’s doctors have been in touch with EPW
officials and are advising them as news comes to
hand. They are awaiting results but the unofficial
word is that Marshall may be looking at a minimum of
six months away from the ring.

The Board are not preempting the results of his
xrays but are said to be exploring all options in
the event that he can not defend the belt come
Evolution. They are also said to be discussing
taking action against Richter for his unprovoked
attack on the new champion. We will report any news
as it comes to hand.
Shane Haste and Alex ‘the Kid’ Kingston
also made history by defeating Dan Moore and
Chase Griffin to become the new EPW tag team
champions after a tremendous match.

Griffin appeared set to get himself disqualified for
a second straight title defense but instead chose to
fight Blitz Team man to man. Despite the best
efforts of himself and Dan Moore, they were
overwhelmed by the momentum that Blitz Team brought
into this match and we saw new champions crowned.
We should have big news on the EPW title picture
before the end of the week.
