With EVOLUTION mere days away, Team All Star’s Coach Brad West dropped by the EPW offices for a chat with us. He also refused to an interview unless we also acknowledged him as the Executive Producer of the self proclaimed ‘hottest rap label in this country’, All Star Records.

Brad West, first of all, how are you and your team looking heading into EVOLUTION?

We’re confident, very confident!

The 2009 #1 Draft Pick Michael Morleone is extremely focused on taking out Jose Del Santo. Of course, that is providing Jose has proper clearance from a doctor regarding the swine flu epidemic. Being Mexican you can’t be too careful.

‘The Team Captain’ Sebastian Sander is ready to get in the ring with three of EPW’s best in Davis Storm, JT and AZ Vegara and walk away with the victory. Evolution 2009 will be the weekend of The All Stars as my assistant coach Vin Penhero and I have devised strategies and plays that will guarantee our guys victories…….

What are Team All Stars plans for night two?   

Well if I could get a word in edge ways I’d get to it. EPW Internet wrestling staff are just like internet wrestling fans. Morons that think they know it all and can put themselves over at my expense. I’ve told you guys already I’m not going to do this interview if you bait me. Do you mind if I continue?

After the successes of night one, we’re looking to go out there and have a good time. I’ve been getting hundreds and hundreds of emails daily by All Star fans asking when the follow up single for Big Vin’s “I’m Gangsta” CD is coming out?

Really?

Yes! What the hell is that suppose to mean? I’ll tell you what net nerd, I don’t like the tone of your voice. This is your last and final warning! Any more snide remarks and I’m out of here.

Anyway I’ve been receiving hundreds and hundreds of emails daily from All Star fans asking when I’m planning on getting back in the studio and putting together a new CD for our loyal supporters. Well All Star Records is proud to announce that on night two of Evolution, Australian Wrestling, Australian Hip Hop and indeed the entertainment world, will be in awe as Big Vin and the Don perform the new All Star Record track, ‘Call Tha Cops’. The instrumentals were written and recorded by yours truly. I am without a doubt one of the most talented men in the world today. 

I’m so confident with my team that directly after the second ever All Star Records Rap Concert we will be throwing out a six man tag open challenge. Whoever is stupid enough to step up and face some combination of Brad West, Vin Penhero, Michael Morleone or Sebastian Sander. So any one in the locker room who think they’re good enough, we’ll be making history at your expense.

Sebastian Sander won the Rising Star Cup in 2008 and you established Team All Star as a powerful force in EPW. With Michael Morleone now on board, what are your goals for 2009?

Titles, Rap Concerts, more titles, more rap concerts and more women…what up!

You mentioned some months ago that you were in contact with the world’s largest wrestling organization and that you had secured a try out for Sebastian Sander when they are in town in July. Do you have any further developments regarding this situation?

Sebastian Sander has a try out but it’s really more of a formality. You see at first I was sending tapes to different agents and talent scouts and then receiving emails from those agents. Now I’m getting calls every other day from the big cheese himself just to chat about my ideologies of wrestling. He’s not only interested in what Sebastian can bring to the table but what I can do to further their business myself. 

So if Sander is picked up by the aforementioned organization, what will that mean for the future of Team All Star in EPW?

This time next year, people like you will be getting up at seven am once a month to watch my man live on pay per view from the US, it’s a done deal. As for Team All Star while Sebastian and myself will be overseas, I’ve built an empire here in EPW that will continue to run. I’ve taught Big Vin everything I know about this game. This year our #1 draft pick is not a rookie. He’s a seasoned veteran and a two time tag champ and next year we will select the 2010 #1 Draft Pick continue to grow and be successful.

And finally, if we interviewed you again in one weeks time, what would you ideally be telling us that Team All Star had achieved over the EVOLUTION weekend?

Ideally? HA Let me tell you what I will be telling you and the other EPW officials in one week’s time:
“Where do I sign to get Sebastian Sander a title shot?”
“No I’m sorry Team All Star will not pay for Jose Del Santo’s hospital bills”
“Where the hell is my money from the CD sales I know we sold at least 5000 copies?”
“Please hold I’ve got an important call…...Hey Vinnie Mac…. What’s been happening? What? You loved what we did at Evolution? Great. I’ll see you at the Dome before the show. Give my love to Linda and the kids.”
