When Jamie Jurah returned to EPW earlier this year,
he let it be known that he had returned to attempt
to fulfill his dream. That dream was to wear the EPW
championship. In the search to achieve this goal,
Jamie helped his exiled former manager, Rick
Sanders, return to Explosive Pro Wrestling.
Jamie felt his greatest period of success in EPW was
when he had Sanders by his side and he clearly felt
that having the ‘Manager of Champions’ in his corner
again would see him finally win the gold he coveted.
Jamie learnt the hard way that Sanders has a very
twisted sense of irony. At Evolution, when Jamie had
the championship within his grasp, the man who was
supposed to help him become the champion proved to
be the final hurdle that he could not leap.
Jamie refused to make a statement in the weeks after
Evolution. He has taken plenty of time to sum up his
feelings on the whole situation and has decided that
what he has to say to Sanders has to take place face
to face at Hell or Highwater.
Jurah is renowned for being a hot head so this has
surprised many inside EPW who had expected a full
scale retaliation to have taken place already.
When asked for comment, Sanders refused to say
anything on the matter.
What will happen at Hell or Highwater when Jamie
Jurah finally confronts the man who stabbed him in
the back and cost him the EPW championship?!
