With Hell or Highwater less than a week away, EPW
officials have confirmed the final card for the
show. KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS WILL BE THE FINAL
EPW SHOW TO TAKE PLACE AT THE VENVILLE REC CENTRE.
After being home for the past four years, we are
hoping to send of the Venville Centre in style.
The main event will see the new EPW champion,
Richter, face up to his long term nemesis, and
former EPW champion, Bobby Marshall. With the gold
on the line you can expect both men to pull no
punches as they fight to call themselves the very
best in EPW.
A few weeks ago, we asked you, the EPW fan base, to
choose a stipulation for the grudge match between
Jose Del Santo and Michael Morleone. Well at Hell or
Highwater, these two men will do battle in an ‘I
QUIT’ Match. Quite simply, there are no pins or
submissions. A winner will only be declared when he
makes his opponent say ‘I quit’.
The Invitational Tournament gets into full swing
with three huge qualifying matches to take place.
All three matches will be contested as three way
matches with the first two men to score a pinfall or
submission going on to the next round of the
Invitational. Tyler Jacobs returns from injury to
face up to two of the hottest rising stars in EPW,
Jay Taylor and AZ Vegara. Team All Star’s captain
Sebastian Sander will be up against the former EPW
tag team champions in Dan Moore and Chase Griffin.
And in the toughest bracket in the tourney Davis
Storm, Shane Haste and Damian Slater will push each
other to the limit as they all fight for a chance to
become the Invitational Tournament winner for 2009.
With Shane Haste already in action, his regular tag
team partner, Alex Kingston will pair up with fellow
Blitz Team member, Kiel Steria, for a tag team match
against the Brothers Schmidt. After defeating
Ferguson Block and Gavin McGavin at Evolution, the
Schmidts will be out to continue their winning
streak at HOHW.
And in the final match for Hell or Highwater,
newcomer to EPW, James Edwards will go one on one
with the ‘recently single’ Jonathon Wimbledon. How
will Wimbledon fair in the EPW jungle without the
European Union by his side? Only time will tell.
THIS WILL BE EPW’s FINAL EVENT AT THE VENVILLE
CENTRE. DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW!
