For those that jumped aboard EPW when we first moved to the Venville Centre in Maylands you would probably know Tyler Jacobs primarily as a tag team wrestler. His success alongside Chris Lazareth as one half of the Fighting Hellfish was noteworthy and together they forged a reputation as a great team.

But when they went their separate ways in early 2008, Jacobs seemed to lose his focus and drive. He wandered through EPW with little purpose and was soundly defeated at Re-Awakening VII by Devlin Reeves. After this match, Jacobs took some time out. He had a long-term knee injury that needed repair, but he also needed to find the answer to a question that had been haunting him for some time.

Do I still want this?

Since returning in July, he has looked more like FN Carnage who dominated EPW through out 2003 / 04 than Tyler Jacobs who lacked the will to succeed.

For those that need the history lesson, jump aboard. This man is a former EPW champion. He is a three time EPW tag team champion. He is a former Invitational champion. He is one of only two men to win all three of these accolades and he was the very first to achieve this feat. He is the only man to hold the EPW championship and the EPW tag team titles at the same time.

Tyler Jacobs has found his focus and his passion and the three men he will face on November 7th in the Invitational Tournament Final of 2009 had best be prepared to face the carnage that this ‘Shotgun’ is ready to leave in his wake.
