After a well deserved break after the biggest show in Australian
wrestling for 2009,
RE-AWAKENING 8,
the EPW office staff have returned in preparation for
KRISTMAS KAOS.
EPW management are planning on sending this year out in style
and have been preparing a fantastic show for our wonderful fans.
After the out of control mayhem that took place between Jamie
Jurah and Devlin Reeves, Jack Burbank has been
working overtime to ensure that our fans get the match that they
paid to see. After much negotiation, Jack was able to get the
two sides to agree on another match at Kristmas Kaos but this
time under NO DISQUALIFICATION RULES. Burbank is
determined to settle the issue between Jurah and Reeves once and
for all.
We also have huge news regarding the main event for Kristmas
Kaos. At RE-AWAKENING, Jonathon Wimbledon and Chris
Vice secured themselves a shot at the EPW tag team
championships before the end of 2009. Unfortunately for
Wimbledon, Vice recently received a call from the United States
and left on a ‘business trip’ with very little notice. Board of
Directors member Brett Corvus has granted Wimbledon an
extension on his tag title match which will now take place in
early 2010.
This left EPW management with no challengers for the EPW tag
team titles for the 5th of December. They decided unanimously to
grant the title match to the two men who represented EPW so
valiantly at WA v
VIC.
So the main event for Kristmas Kaos will see Shane Haste
and Mikey Nicholls defend the EPW tag team titles against
Davis Storm and Jimmy Payne!
This match should be an absolute classic and you will not want
to miss it.
