After a lengthy petitioning process, the Brothers Schmidt have secured themselves a shot at the newly introduced Hardcore Shield this Saturday at KRISTMAS KAOS.

This bout will be contested under modified rules. The match will have a ten minute time limit. Pinfalls and submissions can be scored at anytime through out the ten minutes with the individual who scores the fall becoming the interim holder of the Hardcore Shield. Whoever holds the shield when the time limit expires will officially leave Kristmas Kaos with the EPW Hardcore Shield.

“This is our first shot at any kind of championship in EPW and you best believe that when Kristmas Kaos is all over we will have a ‘Gorgeous’ new holder of the Hardcore Shield,” said Garry Schmidt.

It would appear that the odds are stacked against the current holder of the Shield, Gavin McGavin, as he prepares to face not one but two foes.

When asked for comment McGavin was not short on confidence. “I defied the odds to go 163 – 0 as an amateur. I defied the odds to become the first man to hold the EPW Hardcore Shield. And I will defy the odds this Saturday to leave with my Shield.”

Big words but he will have to back them up this Saturday, December 5th, at the Cyril Jackson Rec Centre..
