Explosive Pro Wrestling is happy to announce its first official
event for 2010,
RISE OR FALL.
February 6th will see the Queens Park Rec Centre
play host to Australia’s best wrestlers as everyone in EPW looks
to start 2010 off on a winning note.
There will be a triple main event as three high stakes
match ups take centre stage.
The feud between Jamie Jurah and Devlin Reeves has
gone way beyond personal. While Jamie originally brushed off
Devlin as a minor distraction from his goal of winning the EPW
championship, Reeves has now become a full on roadblock. They
will get the chance to settle the score one and for all at Rise
or Fall as they will face off in an ALL OR NOTHING STREET
FIGHT. If Jamie can defeat Devlin, he will be granted the
one thing he desires most. A one on one Championship Match.
But should he lose to Reeves, he will never be granted a
shot at the title so long as Richter holds the belt.
Last years Invitational Tournament was one of the
highlights of 2009. But the final was mired in controversy as
Damian Slater and Davis Storm both believed they had
won the match. While Storm was announced as the winner on the
night, a protest by Slater has been upheld and the two will now
do battle at Rise
or Fall to determine the true winner of the Invitational
Tournament for 2009. The match will be contested as a 2 OUT
OF 3 FALLS MATCH. In line with the rules of the tournament,
the winner will also receive a future shot at the EPW
championship.
2009 was without a doubt, a stand out year for tag team
wrestling in EPW. And it will again be a focal point in 2010.
RE-AWAKENING 8 not only saw Shane Haste and
Mikey Nicholls return the EPW tag team titles to Perth, it
also saw new #1 contenders in Jonathon Wimbledon and
Chris Vice. After a brief stint in California over the
Christmas period, Vice has returned to Perth to take the gold
with his new partner in crime.
Rise or Fall
will see these two teams square off to see who will lead the tag
team scene in EPW this year.
This is already shaping up to be a massive event that you can
not afford to miss. 2010 is looking like EPW’s biggest year yet
and it all begins on February 6th at the Queens Park Rec Centre.
