For the past few years, the team of Jonah Rock and
Elliot Sexton have been considered the finest tag team in
Adelaide wrestling. On May 28th, they will get the chance to
test themselves against the finest tag team in Australian
wrestling today.
EPW officials have made no secret of the fact that they are
trying to bring the very best from around Australia in order to
prove that the EPW roster is the strongest in this country. In
the past 12 months we have seen Damian Slater, Carlo
Cannon, Slex and Krackerjak, all top flight
wrestlers, make regular appearances and help push EPW to all new
heights.
With the tag team division being so strong right now, they
considered it the perfect time to bring the ‘A-Town
Phenomenon’ and the ‘Flamboyant Playboy’ to Perth for EVOLUTION 2010.
After having been all over the country, SexRock will
finally make their Perth debut next Friday night (May 28th) as
they team up with Dan Moore to take on the team of the
current EPW tag team champions, Shane Haste and Mikey
Nicholls, and the current holder of the Hardcore Shield,
Chase Griffin.
Although they are known for their tag team exploits, both men
will receive exciting opportunities as singles competitors on
night two. Sexton is set to compete in an Invitational
Tournament qualifying match while Rock will be one of
several wrestlers to challenge for Griffin’s Hardcore Shield
in yet another Hardcore Battle Royale.
When you add SexRock to Damian Slater and Carlo Cannon, EVOLUTION 2010
is shaping up to be an interstate invasion. Can EPW’s homegrown
wrestlers prove they are the best? Or will this group of
invaders make their mark?
