The 11th of September 2010 is set to be one of the biggest
nights of the year as the Blackest Hour and Team All
Star go to war in EPW’s very first Riot Den Match.
But prior to that, we are set for an action packed show as we
hit the highway at 100 miles an hour, heading to our final
destination, RE-AWAKENING 9.
After winning the #1 contenders tournament at the
Telethon Bash,
Davis Storm is counting down the days that he will
challenge for the EPW Championship. But before he can,
the ‘Ironman’ will lead a team of three into an Elimination
Match with the current EPW Champion, Jamie Jurah.
Storm will be joined by Shane Haste, Jay Taylor
and Alex Kingston as they take on Jurah, Tyler Jacobs
and the EPW Tag Team Champions, Jonathon Wimbledon
and Chris Vice.
The 2010 Invitational Tournament semi finals will take
place with the three winners going on to face off at
RE-AWAKENING in the final of the longest running annual
tournament in Australia today. Bobby Marshall will have
his work cut out as he goes one on one with Victoria’s Carlo
Cannon. The interstate flavour will continue as South
Australia’s Elliot Sexton prepares to face off with the
‘Golden Greek’ Marcius Pitt. And the final match will see
‘Hollywood’ Kiel Steria and Chase Griffin fight it
out for the last spot in the Invitational Tournament final.
And finally, the fourth annual Rising Star Cup will take
place as six of EPW’s youngest and brightest will battle it out
for the right to go home with the trophy. They will all take
part in a Battle Royale with the final two contestants
fighting it out to a pinfall or submission. Three of the names
announced for this match are familiar to EPW fans as Garry
Schmidt, Gavin McGavin and Ryan Dangerfield
set to take part in this match. The fourth name is Hayden
Zenith who would be known to most EPW fans as the lackey of
Kiel Steria’s Entourage. The final two names have yet to
be announced.
Make sure you guarantee yourself the best possible seats for
this show as you do not want to miss a second of the action.
